They all loved it!

Shelterbox Sponsored Walk

Today members from all sections of 6th Billericay Scout Group took park in a sponsored walk to raise money to buy a Shelter Box to be sent to an international disaster zone, and also some money to buy equipment to be used in the group.

6 Scouts, 24 Cubs and 9 Beavers all walking 10 miles, 5 miles and 2 miles respectively , along with leaders and parents.

The weather was glorious when we started out at 12 noon from the scout hall, but by 2pm when we collected the Cubs from Ingatestone station the rain had set in for the afternoon and we all got very wet walking the 5 miles back to Billericay!

But despite this a great time was had by all.
